Why do people ask for personal information like age, income and address?

Sometimes we may request personal information such as your age, income, and address, but rest assured that this information is confidential, and we will not share it with anyone.

The reason we ask for this information is to meet specific survey requirements. For example, some sponsored surveys are directed at consumers who live in a certain location/zip code, get paid a specific amount, or belong to a certain age group. With that in mind, we try to send you surveys that match your profile. And to be able to do that, we need to know this information.
